Welcome |
You're probably wondering if therapy can help. You may be feeling unsure how to label what you are going through and don't know yet what you want to get out of therapy. Even if you are unsure about what your goals are, you do know that some of what is going on right now isn't working and you are thinking about getting help. Feel free to click the Request Appointment link below and start a conversation to see if we might be a good fit for working together so that you can get closer to being yourself and feeling happier.
I work with angry kids, frustrated parents, depressed, anxious individuals and people who are feeling disconnected. I am an Art Therapist and no, you do not need to be "an artist" to benefit from art therapy. I use a strengths-based approach and am also trained in multiple evidence-based practices: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT). I utilize an online booking system so that clients can manage their appointments themselves. For access to the booking system, please click the Request Appointment button below. My office is in downtown South Tacoma, a quick drive from University Place, Tacoma, Fircrest, Steilacoom, Lakewood, Puyallup, Federal Way, Fife, DuPont, Bonney Lake, Lake Tapps, and Sumner. |
A number of benefits are available from participating in therapy. Therapists can provide support, problem-solving skills, and enhanced coping strategies for issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship troubles, unresolved childhood issues, unresolved trauma, stress management, grief and loss.

Many people also find that counselors can be a tremendous asset to managing personal growth, interpersonal relationships, family concerns, marriage issues, and the hassles of daily life. Therapists can provide a fresh perspective on a difficult problem and help you find solutions.
